Easy Roast Beef Slider Recipe

This easy roast beef slider recipe is made with tender roast beef and cole slaw. A perfect party bite for intimate parties, happy hours, or game nights.

  • 1 kg rump roast room temperature
  • 0.25 cup rosemary chopped
  • 0.25 cup garlic chopped
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • salt and pepper to taste

Cole Slaw

  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 10 mini buns


  • kitchen rope
  • cast iron skillet
  • 200 gr shredded cabbage mix carrot, white and purple cabbage


  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. 

  2. Tie the roast and coat it with salt and pepper. 

  3. In a bowl, mix the rosemary and garlic with 2 tbsp of olive oil. Set aside

  4. In a skillet, over a medium heat, add 2 tbsp of olive oil once the pan is smoking hot. Sear the meat on all sides and take it off the heat afterward. 

  5. Brush the meat with the herb mixture and place the roast, in the cast-iron skillet, in the oven. Let it roast till the thermometer reads 145 degrees (medium) or 150 degrees (medium-well). 

  6. In the meantime, add the cabbage mix, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, and salt and pepper into a bowl. Mix well and put aside.

  7. Once the meat is done take it out of the oven, wrap it in foil, and let it rest for 5 minutes. Then cut it into slices. 

  8. Slice the buns in two. Add 1 or 2 slices and top it off with the cole slaw. Repeat for the remaining buns and serve.
