Easy Bacon-Cheese Dip Recipe

Cheese dip made out of 5 kinds of cheeses with baked bacon and onions.

  • 50 gr unsalted butter
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 500 ml whole milk
  • 200 gr grated cheese blend
  • 250 gr bacon pieces
  • 1 onion chopped
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • coriander chopped
  • dried basil leaves
  • baguette in slices


  • In a saucepan over low heat add the butter and let it melt. When melted add immediately the flour and whisk everything until all is blended. Add the whole milk and keep whisking until there are no lumps. Add the cheese blend gradually and keep whisking until you get a nice thick cream.
  • In a non-stick pan add the bacon and bake for about 3 minutes. Add the chopped onion and sauté for 3 more minutes. Add the bacon and onion to the cheese sauce and blend everything together. Season with pepper.
  • Transfer the cheese-bacon dip into a bowl and garnish with the chopped tomatoes, coriander and sprinkle with basil. Serve with bread slices.
