Simple Italian Lunch Platter Recipe

  • 1 baguette
  • 200 gr prosciutto
  • 250 gr mozzarella
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 50 gr pesto alla Genovese
  • 200 gr dates deseeded
  • 165 gr green olives with garlic
  • Basil leaves
  • Balsamic vinegar to taste
  • Sea salt and pepper to taste


  • Cut the baguette into 4 pieces and slice them open on the side.
  • Cut the tomatoes and mozzarella in slices.
  • Add 1 slice of prosciutto, the tomatoes and then the mozzarella in the baguette. Sprinkle with salt and pepper on top of the mozzarella and drizzle some balsamic vinegar. Add a teaspoon of pesto and some basil leaves to the sandwich.
  • In a bowl add the olives. Place the dates, mozzarella and prosciutto on the board. Style your board with basil leaves.
