You see, the recipe consists of just a few ingredients, but it’s the simplicity and the herbs flavor of the cream cheese that makes it so tasty. You can whip this dish up in less than 15 minutes and you’ll still be serving an exquisite dish. Add some basil and parmesan cheese and serve it to your guests. You can also add red pepper flakes if you want to add some spiciness to it.

- 400 gr spaghetti
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic
- 600 gr jumbo fresh or frozen raw shrimp peeled, tails removed
- 2 medium tomatoes
- 1 medium onion
- 150 gr herb cream cheese
- 2 tbsp dried basil
- 2 tbsp oregano
- salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese garnish
- fresh basil garnish
cook 1 liter of water with salt and half of the olive oil. Add the spaghetti and cook them on medium heat till tender.
In the meantime, chop the tomatoes, onion, and garlic
Heat the rest of the oil with the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and shrimps and cook for 5 minutes. Add the onion and tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes more. Add the herb cream cheese, basil, oregano, and stir for a couple of times. Season with salt and pepper. Turn off the heat, add the pasta and mix it with the sauce.
Serve the dish with some fresh basil leaves and grate some cheese on top.
