Beach Bum Cocktail Recipe
…with triple sec, pear, vodka and grenadine
I remember being around 18 years old with a thing for cocktails. Blame it on my Carrie Bradshaw phase, but somehow cocktails made me feel fancy. That phase is now over and for the last couple of years, I truly disliked the idea of a sweet alcohol. Up until now! I kind of like the idea of surprising my guests with a homemade drink. If my food is homemade why not do the same for the drinks I serve.
The Beach Bum cocktail is a sweet and refreshing cocktail. It is not a type of cocktail to serve during an evening dinner party, but it’s best served on a hot day when having a picnic, BBQ or just having friends over.
- 60 ml Absolut Pears Vodka
- 30 ml Fresh lime juice
- 15 ml Senior Genuine Curaçao Triple Sec
- 15 ml Maraschino Liqueur
- Ice cubes and crushed ice
- Mint leaves to garnish
Add in a cocktail shaker the vodka, lime juice, triple sec, maraschino liqueur and fill with ice cubes. Shake well.
Fill a glass with crushed ice, strain the cocktail and top it off with grenadine. Take the mint leaves and garnish the cocktail with it.
